No, but if you hum a few bars…..

No, but if you hum a few bars.....

I’ve had a request. This one I’m happy to fulfill.

It’s sometimes easy to forget that not everyone travels the same path that you do and that things that are now second nature to you were once new and awkward. Some have found it difficult to get to and listen to the radio programs which I host. Here’s a brief how to, with options.

You can always come here- and link to the sites for the shows, but I’ll take each step by step.

Flashpoint Bluegrass Radio Show- Monday nights 8-11 E/7-10 C

This show is only offered on the internet. You can access it on a computer, smartphone or tablet device.

Method 1:

on a browser, navigate to:

click the orange/red tab at the top that says ‘Listen’

There is a big blue button that says ‘Play now’, but you might have to scroll down to see it. Click it.

This opens up the player window. Click the play button and music should be streaming from your device.

Method Two:

Go to or download the Tunein app on your device. Search for World Wide Bluegrass Radio. Click the play button.

Bama Bluegrass

Method one: Bama Bluegrass plays on all Alabama Public Radio stations.

Method two: go to

The stream will load in the banner toward the top of the page. You can also choose to play the stream in your iTunes if you’re using a computer.

Method three: open the same website or app as mentioned above, search for AL public radio (or Alabama- both work), click the play button.

I’m told you can also get it on the NPR affiliate apps, but I haven’t tried it.

If you use tunein, you can save the stations as ‘recents’ or ‘favorites’ and you won’t have to search in the future.

I hope this helps. It is more fun with more folks on board. Y’all come and enjoy the music!

Let me know what you like or would like to explore further, too. Always interested.
